Hi There.. this may well be the solution I've been looking for, for a while.

The environment I'm hoping to use this in is fairly long range.
Will this work with multiple devices connected to "different" access points on the same network ?

Also.. is the software able to negotiate 802.1X WEP security... and heres the big one... Hidden SSID's ?

Yes, WiFiTalkie will work in these configurations. Note 2 things, however:
  • "the same network" means that the devices can directly establish a P2P connection.
  • WEP and SSID settings are controlled by the operating system (Palm OS) rather then by WiFiTalkie.
