Is there any way that I can come close. maybe over laying sound, 1 tone with longer decay time followed by another tone?
|
Maybe. What kind of music do you wish to create? A MIDI file or a phone ringtone (if so - for what phone)?

i am desiring to produce a phone ring tone for a Treo 600 by handspring. I want to duplicate the ring tone that is used in the Austin Powers "Gold Member" film.

You may then create the MIDI file in some PC MIDI applications, or even find the MIDI file on the Internet, and then install it to your phone e.g. with the Simply Install - Pilot Install application.
Finally use HoHo's MIDI Manager to move the installed file to the ringtones database, which for Treo 600 is called "MIDI Ring Tones".
