Assigning Programs to keys passes the key as well to the starting application.
Is is possible to prevent this.
For example if you assign H to launch hotsync the H key passes to this app causing it to show the help.
Another example is if you assign N to any text application you will have the 'N' letter in the editor.

I tried this on our Treos (including the 650) and there is no such behaviour. Please try after deactivating/uninstalling any other applications that might modify the keyboard's functionality. | |
